Manifesto Agency — Cookie Policy
Effective Date: 11 July 2026
1. Introduction
1.1 This Cookie Policy explains how Manifesto Agency uses cookies and similar technologies (including localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels and tags — together, "cookies") on https://www.manifestoheadshot.com/ (the "Website"). It forms part of our Privacy Policy and should be read together with it and with our Terms of Service. This Cookie Policy applies to the Website. The Manifesto Headshot mobile App does not use browser cookies in the same way; the App uses on-device storage (including secure storage for session tokens and local preferences). App data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. Where the App opens the Website (for example, to view legal pages), Website cookies may apply in that in-app browser context subject to this Policy.
1.2 Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences and actions, keep you logged in, secure the checkout, and help us understand how visitors use the site so that we can improve it.
1.3 By selecting "Accept all" on our cookie banner you consent to our use of non-essential cookies as described in this Policy. You may equally choose to accept only essential cookies, customise your selection by category, or change your mind at any time (Section 5). We do not deploy non-essential cookies before you have made a choice.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly necessary / essential cookies. These enable core functions: page navigation, session management, login, shopping cart, checkout, load balancing, fraud prevention, cookie-consent storage and security features. They are set without consent because the Website cannot function properly without them, and they cannot be disabled through our banner (only through your browser, which may break site functionality).
2.2 Performance / analytics cookies (consent-based). These help us understand how visitors interact with the Website — pages viewed, time on page, traffic sources, approximate geography, bounce and conversion rates — so that we can measure and improve performance, content and design. Data is used in aggregate; we configure analytics tools to minimise identifiability (for example, IP truncation where the tool supports it).
2.3 Functionality cookies (consent-based). These remember your choices and preferences — such as language, region, display settings and previously entered form details — to provide a smoother, more personalised experience.
2.4 What we do not use. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, ad-network retargeting pixels, or social-media marketing cookies. If this ever changes, this Policy will be updated first and your fresh consent will be sought before any such cookie is set.
3. Illustrative Cookie Table
The specific cookies in use may change as we update the Website. The current live list is maintained in the cookie settings panel. Categories in use are:
| Category | Purpose | Typical duration | Consent required |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session/security (essential) | Session integrity, CSRF protection, login state | Session | No |
| Cart/checkout (essential) | Remember cart contents and checkout progress | Session – 24 hours | No |
| Consent storage (essential) | Record your cookie choices | 6–12 months | No |
| Analytics | Aggregate usage measurement | 1 day – 24 months | Yes |
| Functionality | Preferences (language, display) | 30 days – 12 months | Yes |
| Stripe (third-party, essential to checkout) | Payment fraud prevention and checkout function | Per Stripe's policy | Set by Stripe during checkout |
4. Third-Party Cookies
During checkout, Stripe sets cookies necessary for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. These are governed by Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We do not control third-party cookies. Where any other third-party tool that sets cookies is added to the Website, it will be disclosed in the cookie settings panel and, where non-essential, gated behind your consent.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
5.1 Cookie banner and settings. On your first visit you will be presented with a consent banner allowing you to (a) accept all cookies, (b) accept only essential cookies, or (c) customise your preferences by category. You can reopen the settings at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the Website footer and change or withdraw your consent with effect for the future.
5.2 Browser controls. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings (typically under "Privacy" or "Site data"). Consult your browser's help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) for instructions. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, cart and checkout from working.
5.3 Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. Where our systems can technically recognise a Global Privacy Control or similar signal, we treat it as a refusal of non-essential cookies. Because industry support for such signals is inconsistent, the banner remains the authoritative record of your choice.
6. How Long Cookies Last
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for the period stated in the table above (or in the live settings panel) or until you delete them. Consent records are refreshed periodically, and we will re-seek consent at least as often as required by applicable guidance.
7. Cookies and Personal Data
Where cookie data constitutes personal data (for example, an IP address combined with usage data), it is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including its provisions on purposes, retention, security and your PDPA rights.
8. Updates to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in technology, law or our practices. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted on the Website. Material changes will be flagged via the banner, and fresh consent will be sought where required.
